Named Through Shenanigans

Named Through Shenanigans (abbr. NTR, the "Shenanigans" is rhotic) is a term for describing the odd fact that many people have names that seem too appropriate to be a coincidence. Yet such names usually are coincidental.

Even though this doesn't really make any sense, there is some regularity to the phenomenon. Looking at a list of the most prominent scientists, you will find their names are related to their inventions. Take, for example, Biggo Heavyman, inventor of gravity, Beplo-Grompus Aftershave, inventor of aftershave, and Binglebort Binglebort, inventor of the binglebort.

However, the reverse doesn't hold. In hopes of gifting some of his power, many people have been named "gremscro big hands" (8 billion, in fact. Among which, some people from species that don't even have hands, as well as some species that don't even exist.) Sadly these are just normal people, though one of them does have a slightly big foot.

It follows that the life achievements seem to go back in time to alter the name, instead of the name causing the achievements. This was one of the early clues that causality is in fact cyclic on Dwaia.
