Similarly to both The Big Missing Texture and SC🅱-02, the Crat is a result of the Great Removening. The pixelating mutation also, unlike other Removalland anomalies, seem to be the only mutation with a passive nature. The crustiness of the crat is only visual and audible, but other than that the crat is as dumb and gay as any regular house cat. At first, it was believed that crats, due to the retardation of their pixels, became infertile. However, this was debunked when a Crust Poacher stumbled into a extremely disgusting cat furry orgy in the area around Removalland.
Like previously mentioned, crats are as harmless as regular cats and can be approached and pet without risk of self-crusting.
