Jovians are large and cool (but sometimes also warm) people made of cloud matter. They roam all around the lands of Dwaia, regulating the weather and making sure the cool planes don't get too cool, the dry planes too dry, the hot planes too hot, and the wet planes remain wet. They are usually a good and helpful, some are more beige but that is ultimately because they are weather's sentinels. Jovians are sentient and can understand and speak almost any language, although they lack vocal cords to form words and sentences so they resort to shaping gusts of winds on surrounding terrain to speak. Thus, a Jovian's voice solely depends on their current surroundsings. A mountainous Jovian will have a deep, raspy voice, while a graceful forest Jovian will sound light, feminine and soft.

When a plane is in need of regulation, the inner Dwaian weather maintenance system is supposed to summon nearby Jovians to travel to the plane to have it regulated. If no Jovian is nearby, a new Jovian is temporarily created. Jovians who are inactive for more than 2 months are terminated to be manifested elsewhere. However, this obviously got FUCKED UP because Azai droppped a coin.

The Jovian language is very hard and complicated to speak. In fact, it is impossible for non-Jovian people to replicate. The only person who has been able to slightly replicate a Jovian's voice, was a powerful Bogobin.

History

Jovians are one of the only species left from before The Coin Incident. They were made to regulate and maintain a uniform and temperate climate on Dwaia. For this purpose, they were divided into groups, each subduing the effects of a different natural season. The Sunny Jovians brought hot air to places that got too cold, and the Icy Jovians brought cold air wherever it became too warm. After The Coin Incident, the sun Japaleno and the moon Eggo ceased their orbits, thus ending the natural seasons. However, the Jovians continued trying to regulate the weather on the First Plane, and because their weather regulating tactics didn't change, they began unintentionally causing seasons instead of maintaining a regulated climate.

Reproduction and Genders

While the jovians are gender neutral, there exist many different types. Some examples are icy jovians, wet jovians, fiery jovians, and small and big ones. When a Jovian reproduces, they basically split themselves, kind of like mitosis.

Jovian Castle

While much less a castle and more a thiccer formation of clouds, the Jovian Cloud Dominion is the independent state of Jovians. Here the queen, Cloudia the 1st, rules with a windy and righteous fist over the Jovian people.
