The Jovian Dominion is an independent monarchy floating north-west of Dwaia. It was formed after The Coin Incident when Jovians were initially screwed over. In the midst of all the chaos of Jovian tribes and vague political systems, Queen Cloudia 1st elected herself and formed the government, and brought all Jovians together.
History
After the Coin Incident, when the Jovians lost their powerhouse and had to adapt to the new changes to Dwaia, it was a total wreck. Republican and tribe culture became popular amongst the newly freed Jovians, who wanted to enjoy their freedom while still being maintained under a government. However, due to too many ethic, cultural and historical differences, the different republics and tribes could almost never find compromises when it came to weather control. This issue has caused a lot of strikes and riots over informal and frankly unprofessional political ruling. In the midst of the chaos, one noble Jovian by the name of Cloudia decided that enough was enough, and elected herself as the Jovian queen in 513.7 AP, roughly 500 years after the Coin Incident. Initially this wasn't accepted by the Jovian people, but through her strong political expertise and hardiness, she was eventually accepted.
Architecture
Seeing that Cloudia is of a noble family, the Jovian Architecture is very reminiscent of late medieval to early renaissance, which originates from a fictional planet called Earth. The architecture usually involves high towers, spires, a lot of pathways and fake cloud gardens.
Life in the cloud
Despite the monarchy, a big majority of the Jovian people still live in small cloud communes. It is rare to see a Jovian residence with a roof, as the Jovians are quite literally made of clouds. In the Jovian Castle specifically, the Jovians there work tirelessly with weather maintenance.
