The World of Dwaia, not to be confused with the Land of the same name, is a giant cube-shaped planet from a distant magical universe. It is populated by many different sentient races, such as Humans, Blobmen, Skeletons, Monster Girls, Bogos, Cowbos, Jovians, a Giant Sky Uterus, and so on. The planet was once a perfect utopia created by a group of ancient tinkerers that learned how to control the laws of the universe, but then, in a catastrophe known as the Coin Incident, Dwaia's inner machinery was broken, sending society back to the Dark Ages. The very concept of Science was lost, and so even as the Dwaian populace discovered remnants of the ancient technologies that once made Dwaia tick, they were not able to properly learn from them and come to understand the machines and trinkets they found. Instead, they use them only as tools, as mysterious magical artifacts of unexplained inner workings. As a result, the Dwaians have several advanced technologies such as guns and robots, but lack, for instance, the ability to communicate quickly over long distances, and probably basic hygiene.
